[Fixing] ‘One or more Activex Controls Could Not Be Displayed’ Error On Windows 7

by on April 10, 2011

A short time ago my  pc had one serious problem. I was not able to  open gpedit.msc & Services from the command prompt on Windows 7. Whenever i tried to open gpedit.msc or even services.msc than i got one worning message.

One or more activex controls could not be displayed because either:

1. your current security settings prohibit running activex controls on this page,

or2. you have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.as a result, the page may not display correctly.

Whenever i click on OK within the error message, i get exactly the same error message again.

i fixed this issue by using edit regedit

below method  worked for me after that  i could access gpedit.msc so today i am going to share this method with you.

open Start ,  and serch Run , type in regedit

After that click Okay now open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\.you will see this  in the below image

delete Zones L or [°] delete this folder  after deleting u will see the below image.

by using this trick your problem will surely be solved.
